Association Friends of Morocco in Finland-MYS ry
MYS aims at cultural cooperation between Finland and Morocco in order to make the Moroccan society, nature, history and culture known in Finland, and to develop and enhance reciprocal relations in cultural, educational and socio-cultural interaction between Finland and Morocco.

The activities of the association:

Spreading information about Morocco in Finland and Finland in Morocco
Membership meetings and various informal opportunities for people to meet and learn to know each others
Collaboration with representatives of different professional groups and friendship associations
Interaction with cultural associations both in Morocco and in Finland
Contacts with authorities and NSAs
in both countries in order to bridge the dialogue and development
Spreading good practices by using ICT and through personal visits

The association has received funding by application from the Ministry of Education and from the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and the employees organisation SPECIA - The Experts and Managerial Professionals Association. MYS collects contributions and subsidies by arranging festivities and lotteries e.g in the the yearly World Village Festival.
